The isolation, the absence of a vibrant social life grounded in our culture, and the loss of connection to our ancestral homes have left many depressed and searching for meaning.
At the same time, thousands dream of returning home. But fear holds them back—fear of insecurity, unreliable infrastructure, poor healthcare, food insecurity, and limited access to reliable power. These challenges are real. But they are conquerable.
Brain drain continues as Africa's most talented individuals leave, often never to return. We remain dependent on solutions from outside that often don't serve our true interests.
By funding and supporting African innovation ourselves, we avoid exploitation and conditional aid. We build solutions tailored to our needs, by our people.
We can either wait for solutions from outside—often tied to foreign interests—or we can build these solutions ourselves. That's why we are launching an Innovation Hub rooted in Africa, starting with Uganda, bringing together some of the continent's brightest minds. Our mission is to solve these core issues from within.
